Job Summary
A loader and unloader is a person who works in a warehouse and shipping operation. This person is responsible for helping to load freight onto trucks, trains, and ships to be transported away. He or she also helps unload freight shipped to the warehouse facility.
Essential Duties
- Unload/Load inbound common carrier loads (Containers).
- Assist Warehouse Department as needed and directed by Warehouse Management.
- Work is primarily heavy in nature with frequent walking.
- Must be able to communicate clearly.
- Periods of prolonged standing.
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
